The DPUC is engaged in a statewide campaign to educate all Connecticut consumers about electric restructuring. The Watt's New CT Web site is an important part of that campaign, and your organization is another; it can play a vital role in helping Connecticut consumers learn about electric restructuring and make informed decisions regarding choosing an electric supplier.

As a civic or business organization, you have a unique opportunity to provide information to your members or constituents that will help them become informed consumers. There is a team of Consumer Education Developers who are available to provide information in a format that will best fit your needs. For example, a Developer can deliver a presentation to your members on electric restructuring. The presentation can be tailored to residential or business consumers. Or, if you publish a newsletter or other printed materials for your members, the DPUC would be glad to provide you with informative articles or an educational insert.
